Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen sparked chaotic scenes in Ojota, Lagos, after videos of his visit spread across social media, attracting a huge crowd of supporters who surrounded his vehicle and prevented it from moving.

Clips shared online captured hundreds of enthusiastic fans chanting the Nigeria international’s name, recording videos, and pressing around his car until it became impossible for the vehicle to continue.

As the crowd became increasingly overwhelming, Osimhen stepped out of his Lamborghini to calm the situation, walking through the gathering in an effort to ease the excitement and restore order.

The dramatic reception in Ojota highlighted the immense admiration Nigerians have for the star striker, as speculation over his next club continues to dominate headlines.

Osimhen, 27, remains one of the most sought-after players in Europe despite Galatasaray maintaining that they are not willing to part with him during the current transfer window.

The Turkish champions, who retained their Super Lig title last season with Osimhen contributing 22 goals and eight assists in all competitions, have reportedly placed a minimum valuation of €150m on the forward after turning down a €120m bid from an unnamed European club.

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek, speaking through Turkish football pundit Nevzat Dindar, reiterated that the club will only consider a transfer if their asking price is fully met and the player expresses a desire to leave—a scenario that has yet to materialise.
