England secured a 2-1 victory over Norway after extra time in the quarter-finals of the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Thomas Tuchel’s side battled for 120 minutes before sealing the hard-fought win to book a place in the semi-finals.

The first half ended 1-1 after Norway took the lead, with Jude Bellingham scoring a late equaliser for England before the break.

The second half ended without a goal as both teams failed to break the deadlock, sending the game into extra time.

England eventually secured the victory during the additional 30 minutes, with Bellingham scoring the decisive goal to seal their place in the semi-finals.

The goal took Bellingham’s tally at the tournament to six, moving him into third place on the World Cup goalscoring chart.

England will now face either Argentina or Switzerland in the semi final in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 15.
