‘I will never go where I am not invited,’ Priscilla Ojo fires back at Lizzy Anjorin over wedding attendance claims
Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo has hit back at actress Lizzy Anjorin after she accused Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother, of attending a Warri wedding without a formal invitation and bringing her daughter along uninvited.
The row erupted over the weekend when Anjorin — who has a well-documented history of public clashes with the Ojos — posted a video on Instagram taking aim at Priscilla and her mother’s presence at the wedding of music executive Soso Soberekon.
In the clip, Anjorin alleged that Iyabo Ojo attended the event to collect financial gifts and questioned why she had come with her daughter, pointing out that other guests had not brought their children along.
“You travelled for a party just because you needed donations, just because you are broke and poor. That is why you travelled with your daughter to the party. How many of them went to that party with their children? How many of them?” she asked.
Priscilla responded on Monday via her Instagram Stories, stopping short of mentioning Anjorin by name.
She insisted that her attendance was entirely her own decision, stressing that she is a grown woman fully capable of choosing where she goes.
She also hinted that she had held her tongue for strategic reasons.
“I’m not a child. I am a wife and a mom, and I’m capable of making my own decisions,” she wrote.
“I will never go where I am not invited.
“I have been quiet about this lady because she is clearly mentally ill and I am building my case. That’s all I’ll say.”
