Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has come to the defence of TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, amid criticism over his decision to marry fellow influencer Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis.
Speaking during a recent video broadcast, Daddy Freeze argued that while marriage should not be used as a yardstick for success, the financial ability to take on its responsibilities at a young age was something worthy of praise.
He noted that many of those branding Peller an “olodo” and accusing him of producing “brain-rot” content lacked the means to shoulder the financial obligations that come with marriage — including paying a bride price.
“Marriage itself is not a measure of success, but being able to afford it at a young age like Peller is,” Daddy Freeze said.
Peller and Jarvis recently announced that their wedding is scheduled to hold on August 1, 2026.
