Nigerian comedian Oluwatoyin Bayegun, popularly known as Woli Arole, and his wife, Yemi, have welcomed their second child.
The comedian announced the arrival of their newborn in an Instagram post on Sunday, sharing photos from his wife’s pregnancy journey.
Arole described the baby as a “bundle of joy” and a blessing from God while celebrating the new addition to their family.
“What a GOD we serve!!!!!!!! What a goodnews we have!!!!!! What a great gift from GOD through his mercies!!!!!! The Lord has blessed the Woli Arole family with a bundle of joy!!!!!!!” he wrote.
The comedian also revealed that the arrival of their child coincided with the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary.
“What a way to mark our 5years wedding anniversary!!!!!! Congratulations to my amazing wife @yemiielondon the latest mother in town!!!!!! Congratulations to me the latest Daddy in town!!!!!!!” he added.
“MERCY has done it!!!!!!!! Hear this: ‘This year your goodnews will enter.’ Let the congratulations roll in!!!!!!!”
Arole and Yemi got engaged in March 2021 after being friends for six years before tying the knot in April 2021. The couple welcomed their first child in January 2022.
Woli Arole began his career as an actor and stand-up comedian during his time at Obafemi Awolowo University before gaining wider recognition through social media, particularly with his short comedy videos on Instagram.
He later participated in the Alibaba Spontaneity contest in Lagos, where he emerged as a finalist.
