Superstar Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his longtime logistics aide, Isreal DMW, influenced his decision to include the song “B4 B4” on his newly released sixth studio album, Ori Ade.
The Grammy-nominated artiste made the disclosure during a recent live session while speaking about the creative process behind the 13-track album, which was released on July 31, 2026, and has continued to perform strongly across major streaming platforms.
Davido explained that he had already finalised the album’s tracklist when his former signee, Mayorkun, introduced him to “B4 B4”, a collaboration with singer Fola.
Although he liked the record, the singer admitted he was initially unsure whether it deserved a place on the project.
According to Davido, Isreal DMW urged him not to leave the song off the album, insisting it was too good to be excluded.
Following Isreal DMW’s advice, Davido added “B4 B4” to the final tracklist of Ori Ade.
The decision has since paid off, with the song climbing to the No. 1 position on the Nigeria Apple Music chart, making it one of the standout tracks on the album.
The revelation comes weeks after Davido disclosed that he removed another anticipated track, “Flex My Soul”, from Ori Ade after Isreal DMW mistakenly leaked it online.
According to the singer, the logistics manager ignored repeated warnings and shared a video of himself dancing to the unreleased song while wearing only a towel, forcing him to remove the track from the album before its official release.
