A top Nollywood movie director, Dimbo Atiya, is dead.
Atiya reportedly passed away on Thursday morning.
The founder of the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON), Seun Oloketuyi, announced the news in an Instagram post shared on Thursday.

He wrote; “Dimba Atiya is dead. The top Nollywood director passed on this morning. Details later.”
Also sharing the deceased picture on Instagram, actor Mofe duncan wrote; “God no, not Dimbo. I’m devastated. One of the greatest minds of the entertainment industry.”
The cause of Dimbo’s death remains unknown at the time of filing this report.
The news of his passing emerged just hours after the death of actress Tope Osoba.
