Big Brother has confirmed the voluntary departure of Neche, a housemate in the ongoing BBNaija Season 11 reality show.
In a statement issued by MultiChoice Nigeria and the Big Brother Naija production team, the organisers disclosed that Neche left the house on Sunday, August 16, 2026, citing pressing personal matters that required her immediate attention.
“Neche took this decision as a result of pressing personal matters, which she said required immediate attention,” the statement read.
The production team said it respected Neche’s decision to leave the competition, while commending her for the energy, dedication and commitment she displayed during her time in the house.
The organisers noted that her participation in the reality show featured “notable wins and achievements,” reflecting her contributions to the season.
“While we are sad to see her leave the house, we respect her decision and wish her continued success in her endeavours,” the statement added.
The production team also assured Neche that her departure does not affect her place within the BBNaija community, noting that she remains part of the family.
“She remains part of the BBNaija family, and we look forward to seeing all that she will achieve beyond the show,” the statement said.
