Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has resumed training on an individual basis after undergoing medical tests following his collapse during Saturday’s 3-1 friendly victory over RB Leipzig.

The 23-year-old Germany international went down at the end of the match and needed medical attention as temperatures in Munich climbed above 30 degrees Celsius.

According to AFP sports subsidiary SID, Musiala experienced dizziness, circulatory problems and a feverish sensation after the game.

The former Chelsea academy player was absent from Bayern’s open training session in Munich on Monday but completed an individual workout earlier in the day at the club’s Saebener Strasse training ground.

German media reports suggest Musiala could rejoin full team training later this week as Bayern prepare for Saturday’s Supercup encounter with Borussia Dortmund.

Musiala spent the first six months of the 2025-26 season sidelined after suffering an ankle fracture at the Club World Cup.

He later returned to the Germany squad for the 2026 World Cup, where the team was eliminated by Paraguay in the last-32 stage.
