British actor Noel Clarke has been formally charged with several sexual offences, including sexual assault, voyeurism and exposure, following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) approved the charges on Wednesday after detectives submitted a file containing evidence from their investigation.
Clarke, 50, is facing two charges of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism and one count of exposure.
The alleged offences reportedly took place between 2007 and 2016 and involve five women.
The charges come after an investigation launched by Metropolitan police detectives in September 2025.
Clarke was arrested in connection with the probe at that time and has since been released under investigation.
Clarke is scheduled to appear before Westminster magistrates’ court on October 21.
Mike Cagney, the detective superintendent who is leading the investigation, confirmed that the women involved are receiving support from specially trained officers.
He encouraged other potential victims to come forward.
“We urge anyone who has been a victim of sexual assault to contact police. The information you provide will be dealt with in the utmost sensitivity and we have trained investigators on hand to support you,” he said.
Clarke, who rose to prominence for his role as Mickey Smith in ‘Doctor Who’ between 2005 and 2010, is also known for creating and starring in the teen crime drama films ‘Kidulthood’ (2006), ‘Adulthood’ (2008), and ‘Brotherhood’ (2016).
The actor is married to Iris Da-Silva, with whom he has four children
