Nollywood actress Omotunde Ogundimu has appealed to Nigerians for financial assistance after revealing that she has been battling cervical cancer since 2024.
The actress made the emotional disclosure during an interview with Biola Adebayo, where she spoke about the difficulties she has faced in raising funds for her treatment.
Omotunde said the financial burden of managing her condition has left her exhausted, as she continues to struggle to raise enough money to fund her medical care.
She subsequently appealed to Nigerians to support her financially and help her access the treatment she needs.
“I have been battling cervical cancer since 2024, The treatment I received also have side effects such as my buttock hurting me when I go to urinate. I just want to be okay. I am exhausted. I want a peaceful life. I plead with Nigerians to have mercy on me. I still need to be treated, pls have mercy on me. I don’t know who to call and where to get money from again. Please just help me,” she said in tears.
