The Nigerian naira traded at approximately ₦1,324.42 to the US dollar at the latest mid-market exchange rate on Sunday, 13 September 2026.

This means $1 was equivalent to about ₦1,324.42, although the amount available to buyers or sellers may differ depending on the market and financial institution involved.

At the parallel market, the dollar was reportedly sold for around ₦1,410, while buyers offered approximately ₦1,385 per dollar.

The difference between the reported parallel-market selling rate and the mid-market rate stood at about ₦86 per dollar.

Movements in the exchange rate remain important to Nigerians as changes in the naira’s value against the dollar can influence the cost of imported goods, international transactions, travel and other dollar-denominated expenses.

At the reported parallel-market selling rate of ₦1,410 per dollar, $10 would be worth about ₦14,100, while $50 would amount to approximately ₦70,500. Similarly, $100 would be around ₦141,000, and $1,000 would be approximately ₦1.41 million.

However, the official foreign exchange rate may differ from rates offered by banks, Bureau de Change operators and participants in the parallel market.
