Real Warri Pikin apologises over Timaya’s viral stage video

Nigerian comedian and actress Anita Alaire Afoke Asuoh, popularly known as Real Warri Pikin, has addressed a viral incident involving singer Timaya during one of his performances.

The comedian, who was backstage enjoying the show, said she came out after the singer invited a woman to join him on stage.

The incident quickly went viral on social media, generating mixed reactions from fans and followers.

Real Warri Pikin however, explained that she did not know Timaya would ask the woman to come forward and participate in the performance, adding that she initially resisted when the singer attempted to lift her.

She revealed that the incident had caused an argument with her husband, Ikechukwu.

”Nigerians, please take it easy on me, I’m really sorry. I take full responsibility for my actions. Na me put myself for this one o. Na me use my hand put myself for this one. I no know say if Timaya wan perform that him song, Ukwu, him must bring woman come out outside make him carry am. I no know. I dey backstage dey vibe when e dey perform when he say make a lady come out. And you know me na. When it comes to vibe, anything I dey. Na him I rush come outside. Na me put myself for this one.
