US President Donald Trump has published a list of 25 achievements he says his administration has delivered as the country approaches the November 2026 midterm elections.
In a lengthy post on Truth Social on Friday, Trump highlighted policies covering immigration, foreign affairs, tariffs, energy and domestic issues. The list was titled “TOP 25 TRUMP ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF TERM THREE.”
Trump claimed his administration had achieved what he described as “the most secure border in history” and said no illegal immigrants had been admitted into the United States during the previous 16 months.
“ZERO illegal aliens admitted to the United States in the past 16 months,” he wrote.
He also highlighted the administration’s restrictions on refugee admissions, saying it had reduced admissions from what he described as “dangerous places”.
The US Government suspended processing under the US Refugee Admissions Programme after Trump signed an executive order on January 20, 2025. Some related processing was later resumed following court action.
English made official language
Trump also listed the designation of English as the official language of the United States among his achievements.
He signed an executive order on March 1, 2025, designating English as the country’s official language and revoking an earlier executive order on language assistance for people with limited English proficiency. The order, however, allowed federal agencies to continue providing documents and services in other languages where appropriate.
Trump highlights Iran war
On foreign policy, Trump claimed that the United States had “obliterated Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity”, saying this would ensure that Iran “will NEVER have a nuclear weapon”.
The claim comes amid the continuing US-Iran conflict, which has caused disruption in global energy markets and contributed to higher fuel prices. Reuters reported on September 18 that the war had continued for more than six months, with Iran still resisting US pressure.
Trump also highlighted his administration’s military and diplomatic actions in his list of achievements.
Tariffs and US manufacturing
The President also pointed to the tariffs imposed on US trading partners, saying the measures were intended to “bring back American Manufacturing”.
His administration has expanded the use of tariffs as part of its trade policy, including measures linked to efforts to put economic pressure on countries that trade with Russia.
On September 18, Trump signed legislation imposing sanctions on Russia and giving him expanded authority to impose tariffs of up to 100 per cent on some countries that purchase Russian energy or help Moscow evade sanctions.
Trump’s list comes less than two months before the November midterm elections, in which all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and roughly one-third of the Senate seats will be contested.
The post forms part of the administration’s effort to highlight its record before voters head to the polls.
