Funke Akindele has shown her support for Kamo State’s first cinema movie, Starlomo, days after her absence from the film’s premiere fueled speculation about the state of their relationship.
Kamo State is widely regarded as one of Akindele’s protégés. In May, the actor described his relationship with the filmmaker as a divine blessing and a significant turning point in his career.
Akindele was notably absent from the Lagos premiere of Starlomo on September 20, prompting speculation on social media that there could be a rift between the two entertainers.
However, Kamo later dismissed the reports, explaining that Akindele was outside the country when the premiere took place.
Her subsequent show of support for the movie has further dispelled the speculation surrounding their relationship.
