Nigerian streamer Peller and content creator Jarvis have announced that they are expecting their first child, two months after getting married.
The couple confirmed the pregnancy on Thursday through their respective Instagram accounts.
Jarvis shared a maternity photograph on Instagram alongside a message reflecting on their journey from being a couple to becoming husband and wife and now expecting their first child.
She wrote: “From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon to be parents.
“We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve prayed, we’ve grown, and through it all, God kept writing our story. Today, we get to share the most beautiful chapter yet.
“A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer.
“Peller & Jarvis and now, a little one on the way. God, thank You for everything. This is more than we could ever ask for.”
The announcement comes after earlier reports and speculation that Jarvis was pregnant before the couple’s wedding.
The rumours generated reactions among fans, with some speculating that the pregnancy may have influenced the couple’s decision to marry soon afterwards.
However, Peller and Jarvis had not publicly addressed or confirmed the pregnancy until Thursday’s announcement.
