‘Spider-Man’ actor Tobey Maguire officiates ex-wife’s wedding to Nigerian billionaire’s son
The ‘Spider-Man’ actor Tobey Maguire has officiated the wedding of his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, despite their divorce.
Meyer married Geoff Ogunlesi, son of Nigerian billionaire businessman Adebayo Ogunlesi, at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii on Saturday.
Photos show Maguire at the front and centre as Meyer said “I do” to the celebrity jeweller. Their two children, Otis and Ruby, were also present at the ceremony.
Several dignitaries and celebrities attended the wedding, including actor Courteney Cox, Rachel Zoe, actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, as well as Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos.
Maguire’s role in officiating Meyer’s wedding comes a few weeks after they officially finalised their divorce.
Meyer met Maguire, her ex-husband, in 2003, and they tied the knot in 2007.
The couple announced their separation in 2016. Four years later, in 2020, the jewellery designer finally filed for divorce from Maguire.
However, Meyer and Ogunlesi announced their engagement in September 2024. The couple have also reportedly welcomed a baby girl, who was present at the wedding.
Geoff is the founder and CEO of The Ogunlesi Group, a Los Angeles-based company specialising in entertainment and music management.
The company manages several prominent industry names, including Young Thug, Charlieonna Friday and Myles Frost.
