Nigerian content creators Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Oderhowo Carter Efe have earned nominations in the Best International Streamer category at the 2026 Streamer Awards.

The organisers unveiled the nominees on Friday through a post on X.

Peller and Carter Efe are among five contenders shortlisted for the award, alongside Indian streamer Ashswag, Polish creator Young Multi and Cuban streamer Staryuuki.

The nomination marks major international recognition for Nigeria’s streaming community, which has grown exponentially over the past year, driven by TikTok Live, Twitch and YouTube.

Both nominees have built massive followings through high-engagement live content, collaborative streams and viral moments.

Peller, who recently said he was invited to TikTok’s office in the United Kingdom, described the nomination as a milestone and dedicated it to his fans.

Voting for the category is now open on the official awards website and will close on October 31.

Winners will be determined by a combination of a 70% public vote and a 30% panellist score.

The Streamer Awards ceremony is scheduled for November 12, 2026, in Los Angeles and will stream live on Twitch and YouTube.
