The Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is holding its inaugural meeting behind closed doors in Abuja ahead of the kick-off of its campaign in Kaduna.

The meeting is taking place at the council’s secretariat, one week after the PCC was inaugurated.

Journalists have not been granted access to the venue, while some members of the campaign council were seen gathered at the entrance as they attempted to gain entry.

The meeting has also affected traffic, with the major highway leading to the secretariat blocked.

The gathering comes as the APC prepares to commence its campaign activities in Kaduna ahead of the 2027 general election.
