Reality TV star Tacha Akide has cleared the air over a tattoo that previously attracted public attention, with many people believing it was an image of Afrobeats singer Davido.
Speaking in a recent interview, Tacha explained that the tattoo depicted a child’s face, not the singer’s, describing the widespread interpretation as misinformation.
She said she eventually covered the tattoo because people change as they grow older.
“The tattoo wasn’t Davido’s face, it was a kid’s face, but people thought it was Davido, and I covered it because people grow. It was misinformation. Even if I cleared the air, people would still run with it. I covered it because people grow,” she said.
The tattoo had previously generated conversations on social media, with many people interpreting the image as Davido’s face and speculating about Tacha’s admiration for the singer.
However, the reality TV star removed the tattoo in 2024 through a laser procedure.
