Legendary Canadian singer Celine Dion has confirmed her stage comeback with a Paris residency, four years after her diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome.
The 58-year-old shared the update in a video message titled “The Best Gift of My Life,” where she unveiled plans for a limited 10-night residency at the Paris La Défense Arena, scheduled for September and October.
The announcement, made on her birthday, marks a significant milestone in her recovery journey after her 2022 diagnosis with Stiff Person Syndrome, which forced her to step away from the stage and cancel her Courage World Tour.
Celine Dion extended heartfelt thanks to fans for their steadfast support during her time away, noting that she feels more resilient now and is eager to get back on stage.
“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life. I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again,” she said.
“I want to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good”.
This comeback comes on the heels of her deeply emotional 2024 documentary, I Am: Céline Dion, and her stunning performance at the 2024 Summer Olympics, reinforcing that her voice remains powerful despite ongoing health challenges.
