A mini-truck driver in Ekiti State, Adeleye Adeniyi, popularly known as “Online Loan Man for BAO,” has sparked conversations after reportedly borrowing a total of ₦3.5 million to support the re-election bids of President Bola Tinubu, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele and Hon. Steve Fatoba.

According to reports flying around online, Adeniyi said he borrowed the money to show appreciation for what he considers the leaders’ contributions to development.

The reported breakdown is ₦2 million for Tinubu, ₦1 million for Bamidele and ₦500,000 for Fatoba.

His decision has drawn attention online, raising questions about political loyalty, personal sacrifice and whether supporters should take loans to finance the political ambitions of public officeholders.
