[TRENDING VIDEO] Netizens reacts to mini-truck driver for borrowing ₦3.5m to support Tinubu, Bamidele, Fatoba’s re-election bids
A mini-truck driver in Ekiti State, Adeleye Adeniyi, popularly known as “Online Loan Man for BAO,” has sparked conversations after reportedly borrowing a total of ₦3.5 million to support the re-election bids of President Bola Tinubu, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele and Hon. Steve Fatoba.
According to reports flying around online, Adeniyi said he borrowed the money to show appreciation for what he considers the leaders’ contributions to development.
The reported breakdown is ₦2 million for Tinubu, ₦1 million for Bamidele and ₦500,000 for Fatoba.
His decision has drawn attention online, raising questions about political loyalty, personal sacrifice and whether supporters should take loans to finance the political ambitions of public officeholders.

Here are some reactions on X:
@UnkleAyo The only thing I heard was
“What he has done for him” & “received more of what he has done”
If you put his words in context he is right, Tinubu will continue to do for himself what he has been doing, and keep impoverishing Nigeria.— unspoken (@zanndro) October 9, 2026
@UnkleAyo This is a top content its looks so real. What a joke.
Imagine borrowing to campaign for the same person who made sure you’re poor enough to live by borrowing. By the way had he branded the bus? Cus 3m branding cannot be this. Criminals supporting their kind.— Gerald Osuji (@OfficialOGFlick) October 9, 2026
@UnkleAyo This is why Nigerians can’t be safe. Look at the poor masses we are dying to secure a better future for is borrowing to campaign for the same government that keeps him in abject poverty that he has to borrow money to campaign.

@UnkleAyo Ekiti people? Don’t joke with their delusion o. They are on a different level. Ekiti people that will sell vote on credit won’t take loan to support APC ke?

@UnkleAyo We will still be here when he will cry out with curses to Tinubu. Have we forgotten his brother who cry out early this year after he supported APC 2023 with all he saved, at the end he wasn’t remembered and the worst he couldn’t feed his family presently. He will sell that motor

@UnkleAyo That “I am fully ready” repeated 3x is what he thinks will pay back the loan and more. Although I think this is sponsored anyways.
How anybody thought this was a good campaign material is beyond me

@UnkleAyo You borrowed money to support Tinubu that’s living a life of opulence. You don’t have the money in your account. You had to borrow it. That did not tell you that you are doing something wrong and that Tinubu is also not doing well? Fool

@UnkleAyo By the way this is the Nigerian hustle spirit, fool around till someone notices you and bring you close to the table. He knows what he is doing.
