Nigerian music stars made a strong impact at the 2026 African Muzik Magazine Awards, with Davido, Tems and Phyno among the artistes who emerged victorious.
The awards ceremony took place on September 12, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. The official results page, updated on Tuesday, recognised artistes and entertainers from Africa and the diaspora across 41 categories.
Davido claimed Album of the Year for 5ive, while Tems won Best Female West Africa and Ruger took Best Male West Africa. Phyno emerged Best Male Rap Act, while Mercy Chinwo secured the Best Gospel award.

Fally Ipupa was named Artist of the Year and also received the Crossing Boundaries with Music Award, while Bnxn and Sarz won Song of the Year.
Timaya received the Timeless Impact Award, while Diamond Platnumz and Juma Jux won Best Collaboration.
Other category winners included Eno Barony for Best Female Rap Act, Shenseea for Best Female Reggae/Dancehall, Dope Nation for Best African Group and Ghetto Kids for Best African Dancer.
