In a bid to perfect the process necessitated by the demise of the Oloola- Oba Samuel Alabi Adeluyi- Ogbowo Ilu Dagba 1, the Council of Chiefs and the Regency headed by Chief Adebisi Ogunrinde the Otunba and Adele Oba of Ilara land, has announced the final traditional rite for the late Kabiesi.

The final rite which involves the traditional Oro deity was scheduled to take place on Saturday 11th of July 2020.

It was recalled that Chief Ogunrinde had earlier indicated in a media chat that the final rites would be performed anytime soon.

Newslickng gathered that the Oro deity would be all out during the day and night on the scheduled Saturday as against the usual night rituals.

Hence, the people of Ilara and especially travellers on essential duties to Ilara had been warned to stay clear of any social or commercial activity on Saturday to allow a seamless traditional rite for the royal father, especially as Ilara is a border town and attracts large commercial activities.
