Naira depreciates by 0.2% against dollar at official market

The Naira on Thursday, depreciated at the official market, trading at N1,650.20 to the dollar.

According to data from the FMDQ Exchange’s official trading platform, the Naira lost N4.8, reflecting a 0.29% decline compared to Wednesday’s exchange rate of N1,645.40 to the dollar.

Additionally, total daily turnover dropped to $214.73 million on Thursday, down from $236.84 million on Wednesday.

At the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the Naira traded within a range of N1,698.25 and N1,633 to the dollar.
