Tension has gripped Asagba Ogwashi, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, after gunmen stormed a church, shot the pastor, and abducted six worshippers.
The attack occurred during a Friday night vigil at Elyon Paradise Ministry Church. According to sources, the assailants shot the pastor, Apostle Divine Omodia, severed two of his fingers, and took six congregants to an unknown location.

“The pastor was rushed to hospital, where medical personnel fought to save his life. The kidnappers have yet to demand a ransom,” a source revealed.
Delta State Police Command spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident, stating that a rescue team is in the bush tracking the suspects.
