Ibrahim Yaya, 19, was arraigned before an Ota Magistrates Court in Ogun State on Tuesday for stealing valuables worth N4 million.
Yaya was charged with burglary and theft after being turned over to police by the vigilance group that apprehended him.
Yaya was apprehended on December 17, 2022, around 0700 hours, at No 40, Adeniran Street, Sango-Ota, Ogun.

The prosecutor said the offences violated Sections 411(1)(2) and 412 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Yaya was granted a bail of N100,000.
