Three students abducted near Akure Airport farm

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of three students from the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, while working on a farm near Akure Airport.

The incident reportedly took place at a farm settlement named Oke Oge in the Oba-Ile area of Akure North Local Government.

The victims, who were undergoing Industrial Training (IT) on the farm, were allegedly abducted on Saturday evening while returning home.

The Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami, stated that anti-kidnapping operatives had been deployed to the area.

Additionally, the Commander of the Amotekun Corps in the state, Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed the incident, stating that security operatives were combing the entire area in search of the victims.

Meanwhile, a family source revealed that the kidnappers have contacted the victims’ families, demanding a ransom of ₦15 million.
