Lagos Water Corporation serves disconnection notice to defaulters

Lagos Water Corporation has urged residents in the state, particularly those in Oworonshoki axis and environs, to pay their water bills as the corporation is set to embark on a mass disconnection exercise.

In a statement released by the Corporation on Tuesday, Managing Director/CEO, Engr. Muminu Adekunle Badmus said the Agency has commenced serving disconnection notices to defaulters in the State as the last warning before embarking on the disconnection exercise.

The LWC boss restated that the State Government is committed towards the provision of uninterrupted Potable Water to the residents of Lagos and wants the public to support the Government efforts by paying their water bills promptly for effective service delivery.

He, therefore, urged the public to pay their water bills to avoid being disconnected, as the Corporation has increased water supply to residents in the State.

While wishing the general public Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance, Engr. Badmus enjoined Lagosians to conserve and use water wisely during the yuletide period and always.
