How to check 2024 JAMB result

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued the results for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

JAMB Registrar Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the UTME results during a press conference at the board’s offices in Bwari, on the outskirts of Abuja.

According to Oloyede, more than 1.94 million candidates enrolled and took the exam in 118 towns and over 700 venues across the country.

The examination began on Friday, April 19th and ended on Monday, April 29th. Of the 1,989,668 registered candidates, 80,810 were missing. A total of 1, 904, 189 people took the UTME within six days of the examination.

 

Check JAMB results 2024 via the website

Visit the JAMB eFacility Portal: Open a web browser and visit the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s eFacility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/login.
Enter your login details: Here, you’ll need to provide your email address and password you used during registration.
Access your results: Once you’ve entered the required details, click on the “Check UTME Results” button. Your UTME score for each subject taken will be displayed on the screen.

Checking JAMB results 2024 via the SMS

Open your messaging app: On your mobile phone, launch your text message application.
Compose a new message: In a new message, type “RESULT” (all caps) followed by your JAMB Registration Number.
Send the SMS: Send the message to either 55019 or 66019, the official JAMB result from SMS numbers.
Receive Your Results: JAMB will then send you a reply SMS containing your UTME scores for each subject taken.
Service Charge: This method incurs an N50 charge which will be deducted from your mobile phone airtime.

The following are the responses you should expect:

*If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, a message will be sent to him thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”

* A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).

* If a result is withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidate.

* If a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”

* If a candidate was absent, he or she would get “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback

* A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.

* “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.”
