The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has begun the sale of application forms for the 2026 Direct Entry programme.

In a notice shared via its official X account, the board announced that registration “commenced today, Monday, 2nd March 2026 and will end by Saturday, 25th April 2026.”

It clarified that the entire process — including the purchase of e-PINs and application documents is available only through its accredited state and zonal offices nationwide.

Direct Entry enables candidates with recognised qualifications such as National Diploma, National Certificate in Education, Interim Joint Matriculation Board certificates, A-levels, or other approved equivalents to gain admission directly into 200 level at universities, bypassing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

The exercise begins shortly after the close of registration for the 2026 UTME, which ended on February 28.
