The Lagos State Government, via the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has completed arrangements for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), which is set to take place from July 2 to July 8, 2025.
This was revealed in a statement on Friday by the Public Affairs Officer of the Lagos State Examinations Board, Onadipe Opebere.
In the statement, the Director of the Examinations Board, Adebayo Orunsolu, emphasized that the BECE marks an important academic transition for students advancing from junior to senior secondary school.
“The board is committed to ensuring a fair and seamless examination process across public and private schools in Lagos State,” Orunsolu stated.
He advised students participating in the examination to prepare diligently and approach it with confidence and determination.
Orunsolu also called on parents, guardians, and school administrators to take note of the examination dates and adhere strictly to the prescribed guidelines.
He also assured all stakeholders that adequate measures have been put in place to ensure the successful conduct of the examination across the state.
