The 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards had twelve nominations for Femi Adebayo’s Netflix Original Yoruba film, Jagun Jagun.
Since its 2023 release, the film has gained widespread praise from viewers and won numerous important awards.
Best Indigenous Film, Best Supporting Actor, Director of the Year, Best Makeup Application, Best Production Design, Best Sound, Best Actor, Best Costume, Best Soundtrack, Best Sound, Best Production Design, Best Special Effects, and Best Actress are among the nominees.
Femi Adebayo told his fans about his enthusiasm in a post on his X Twitter. He wrote:
“Wow, Guys! We’ve done it again!! Delighted to announce that JAGUN JAGUN – THE WARRIOR (a Netflix Original Movie) has been nominated for Twelve (12) Awards at the 2024 BON Awards.”
This follows the movie’s recent success, where it secured seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
In related news, Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo’s acclaimed film Jagun Jagun has garnered seven nominations at the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
The nominations were unveiled on Wednesday during a ceremony held at the Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos. The event was attended by key members of the jury, the AMAA screening college, and the Africa Film Academy (AFA) board.
Hosted by renowned presenter Vimbai Mutinhiri Ekpenyong, the event marked the official commencement of activities for the 20th edition of AMAA.
