Actor Chiwetalu Agu mourns demise of Mr Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor

Veteran Nollywood actor Chiwetalu Agu recently discussed the passing of Mr Ibu and Amaechi Muonagor, two of his fellow actors.

The actor started a live session on his official Facebook page and offered the two actors his condolences.

Chiwetalu Agu discussed Mr. Ibu and disclosed some unknown facts about him. He revealed that he got to know Ibu when the latter was employed in Onitsha as a technician.

He disclosed that Mr. Ibu had previously repaired appliances and other things. But Mr. Ibu, who was clearly passionate about acting, started going to film sets with him and other people until one day he was cast in a role.

Agu observed that Ibu was given the part of an idiot, and he performed it flawlessly, impressing everyone.

Chiwetalu Agu claims that he knew Mr. Ibu was going to succeed in the business the moment he noticed his distinctive acting style.

He also wished the actor a restful eternity.

Speaking about Amaechi Muonagor’s death, he also described it as an untimely exit, stating that Muonagor passed out when many least expected it.

He concluded by stating that nobody can question God while sending his condolences.

He wrote:

“My tribute to our very own legend late veteran Actor John Okafor a. k. a mr Ibu and late Veteran Actor Amechi Muonagor.
I pray they find peace where ever they are and that may the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace Amen”
