The Canadian stage actor Julien Arnold passed away while on stage performing “A Christmas Carol.”
Arnold passed away on November 24, according to a statement from the Punctuate Theatre, where his wife, Sheiny Satanove, serves as managing director.
The 60-year-old passed away during the stage production’s evening performance at Edmonton, Alberta’s Citadel Theatre.
He passed away at the theatre “despite resuscitation attempts” by paramedics, according to CBC News, which quoted an Alberta Health Services official.

The cause of his death has not yet been revealed.
The theatre also paid tribute to the deceased actor, describing him as “a gifted performer” who was “loved dearly by the community”.
“It is with heavy hearts we share the news of the sudden passing of Julien Arnold, a beloved actor and dear friend of the Citadel Theatre,” it reads.
“A cherished member of the Edmonton theatre community, Julien was a gifted performer whose charisma and talent graced our stage in countless productions, including A Christmas Carol.
“Julien’s passing is a profound loss to his family, friends, fellow Carol company members, Citadel staff and the Edmonton community he loved so dearly.
A fundraiser was also set up to assist his wife with costs “related to his passing, including funeral costs, rent, groceries, and time off work to grieve”.
