Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Sodiq Ejalonibu after one year of suffering miscarriage.
Tawa Ajisefini, her colleague in the Yoruba subsection of Nollywood, just welcomed her own newborn boy a short while ago.
This news is especially upsetting because Debbie Shokoya lost her baby at the age of eight months in 2023.
Seiilat, Shokoya’s coworker, revealed the news that the actress had given birth to a daughter with her spouse by posting a picture of the expectant star along with a heartfelt message.
She noted how she had been waiting to post the photo while congratulating the new mum.
he captioned her post:
“We are so grateful. Been waiting to post this particular one. Congratulations my love. Kisses to our mini Debbie”.
Actress, Nkechi Blessing also took to her Instagram page, to congratulate the new mum on her bundle of joy. Sharing the same maternity photo, she wrote:
“Oh Lord Jesus, you do this one ooo. Big big congratulations on the arrival of your bundle of joy. Ore kanka Olorun a dupe”.
Biola Bayo in her post shared a detailed video of the mum’s pregnancy journey, with the clip ending where Debbie Shokoya was wheeled out of the theatre while cuddling her baby girl in her arms. Biola Bayo wrote:
