Following his performance in New Zealand, Nigerian artist David Adeleke, also known as Davido, ignited excitement by bringing UFC superstar Israel Adesanya on stage with him on Friday.
The two performed a dance to Davido’s smash song ‘Unavailable.’
The performance video went viral on social media, with many Nigerians raving over the romantic moment.
An X user, hb_enter, praising Adesanya, wrote, “Stylebender multitalented Yoruba boy.”
Earlier, Davido had taken to X to announce his performance in New Zealand. He arrived at the venue with Adesanya, who is also Nigerian-born, and the two put on an energetic show that left the crowd wanting more.
Adesanya is no stranger to dancing. In fact, he recently participated in Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ challenge, showing off his impressive legwork skills.
Davido later took to social media to hail Adesanya as a “champ” while reacting to his attempt at the challenge.
Adesanya was born in Nigeria but resides in Auckland, New Zealand, where he has continued with his professional Mixed Martial Arts career.
In September, Sean Strickland defeated the two-time middleweight champion at UFC 293 to claim his title.
