The Nollywood actress Adunni Ade dismissed a widely circulated story that she bemoaned her single status.
The actress allegedly stated in an interview on Sunday that she “remained unmarried despite being the centre of attention and admired for her beauty,” according to a blog.
Adunni, however, denied the allegation in a post via X, describing it as “false” and charging the site with disseminating false material in order to increase participation.
The 48-year-old movie actor further threatened legal action if the fake story was not removed within the allotted 24-hour period.
“I kindly request that you take down this post within 24 hours to prevent further action involving my legal team,” the post reads.
“I do not appreciate the fact that you’re using my name to peddle false news & articles with no verifiable source just to generate engagement.”
