Afrobeats stars Asake and Wizkid have achieved a new streaming milestone as their joint track, MMS, surpassed 100 million plays on Spotify.
The development was announced by music analytics platform TheDebutHub on X.
With the achievement, MMS becomes Asake’s eighth song and Wizkid’s 17th track to exceed 100 million streams on Spotify across all credits.
The Grammy-nominated song blends Asake’s energetic Yoruba-infused style with Wizkid’s smooth melodies.
It earned a nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, highlighting Afrobeats’ global rise.
