Popular content creator and socialite Tunde Perry has joined the ongoing conversation surrounding Peller, offering a strong perspective on lifestyle differences and income realities.

His reaction follows criticism from TVC News anchors and other Nigerians over Peller’s comments on luxury and affordability after his Maldives trip with his girlfriend.

Responding to the backlash, Perry said:

“Civil servants cannot go to Maldives to enjoy themselves like Peller did, truly. People are just blaming him for saying the truth, even the TV stations that are blaming him too.”

He argued that the criticism directed at Peller may be misplaced, stressing that economic realities make such experiences inaccessible to many government workers.

Perry further stirred debate by comparing professions, suggesting that some skilled workers now earn and live better than civil servants.

“Barbers live a better life than civil servants. Civil servants, everybody is not your level. Give respect to whom it is due,” he added.

His remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians divided over the accuracy of his claims.

One user wrote, “Some civil servants go vex for this one, but he didn’t lie.” Another added, “Nigeria hard for many people.”

The discussion continues to highlight concerns around income inequality, lifestyle expectations, and the economic challenges faced by different professions in the country.
