Eleven housemates are up for possible eviction from the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Show Ya Sef’ house this week.
The nominations took place on Monday evening shortly after Barry emerged as the head of house (HoH) for week eight and was also named the “ultimate veto power holder” for the season.
With the victory, Barry secured immunity for himself for the next two weeks and became the first confirmed finalist of the season.
Following the HoH games, Big Brother instructed the housemates to assemble in the lounge for the nomination process.
Unlike in previous weeks, the authoritative voice gave the remaining housemates, except Bells, who is the bench warmer of the hour, two minutes each to convince the HoH why they deserved immunity for the week.
After the pitches, Big Brother asked Barry to save one housemate from possible eviction. He chose Aikou.
Big Brother subsequently announced that the other housemates were up for possible eviction this week.
The winner of this year’s edition will receive a record N160 million grand prize, the biggest payout in the history of the reality show since its debut in 2006.
Of the 24 housemates introduced on July 26, 11 have so far been evicted, leaving 13 contestants in the house.
The reality show is scheduled to end on October 4.
