Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 contestant Nelly has spoken out about her decision to avoid her fellow housemate, Shaun, despite his want to communicate with her after her eviction.
Since their time in the BBNaija home, where their friendship was strained, Nelly and Shaun’s tensions have been building.
The prior accusation made by Shaun and his girlfriend that Nelly’s buttocks were “fake” exacerbated their relationship problems.
But Shaun defended his position, saying that Sooj, Nelly’s boyfriend, was the one who first commented on his girlfriend’s physique.
Despite Shaun’s attempts to justify his actions, Nelly maintained a cold demeanor towards him.
In an interview with Naija FM, she disclosed that Shaun tried to mend their relationship after her eviction, but she was not interested.
“After the eviction, Shaun was chasing me around like a fowl; that we should speak. I told him there’s no need for this conversation; it’s your opinion of me, and it’s valid,” she said.
During the show, Shaun revealed that he shifted his attention to fellow housemate Wanni, explaining that Nelly never made the first move.
Wanni also accused Nelly of flirting with Shaun even while he was in a relationship with her.
