Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 winner Kellyrae has responded to those who claim he didn’t earn the N100 million grand prize.
Kellyrae responded to allegations made by several contestants and viewers, such as Shaun, who feel he did not make a substantial contribution to the show on a recent podcast held by fellow BBNaija housemate Adekunle Olopade.
The reality TV star emphasised that personal disagreements shouldn’t be used as an excuse to diminish someone’s accomplishments, claiming that those who are criticising his win are “not wise.”
He brought up the recurring conflicts between his fellow housemate Onyeka and his wife Kassia, saying that he still recognises Onyeka’s abilities in spite of their tense relationship.
Kellyrae further expressed his confusion over why some of his colleagues felt they were more deserving of the prize money than he and his wife.
He argued that such views are misguided, suggesting that those who hold them lack insight and wisdom.
“I don’t know what some of my colleagues saw in me in the house that made them feel they were more worthy of the prize money than my wife and I. It means you are actually a dull person. You are not wise,” Kellyrae said.
