Evicted Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate DJ Flo has revealed that she was not surprised to find out about Kellyrae and Kassia’s marriage, despite the couple keeping it from the other housemates on the show.
DJ Flo said in an interview with Pulse that she and a few other housemates had known from the first week onwards that Double Kay was married.
She said,
“I’m not shocked to find out that Kellyrae and Kassia are married. Because from the first week, we already saw it.
“Me and Rhuthee suspected that they were in a relationship. Chinwe came and told us that they are not just in a relationship that they are married. When she said it they were just laughing about it but we kept seeing the signs. We kept watching them closely even the way Kellyrae dances with Kassia during the party shows that they are not just friends.”
In a different story, life coach Solomon Buchi voiced his dislike of a video that appeared to show the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) duo “DoubleKay” fighting about a situation in which Fairme, one of the housemates, claimed Kassia had touched his nipple.
The reality show now features a married couple, which worries Buchi since he feels it goes against the idea of marriage’s sacredness.
Buchi’s remarks made clear how much he valued marriage as a holy institution that ought to be treated with decency. He bemoaned the days when the status of married man was equated with intelligence and maturity. But, Buchi claims that this view has fundamentally shifted as a result of married people appearing on reality shows like BBNaija, which he believes encourage unethical behaviour and sexual entanglements.
“Wait, a married couple went on Big Brother Naija? You guys have no respect for marriage. There was a time that people believed one had sense just because they’re married. These days married people are scrambling to get on a reality show that thrives on romantic affairs and immorality.”
