The organisers of the reality TV show Big Brother Naija have revealed plans to launch its 10th season.
During a press briefing on Wednesday, the organisers announced that the Season 10 winner will take home a record-breaking ₦150 million the highest prize since the show began in 2006.
Fan-favourite Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is set to return as the show’s host.
While addressing the press, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu highlighted the show’s major milestones, including 197 housemates featured across nine seasons, 709 days of broadcast, and a total of ₦637 million awarded in prizes.
He also reflected on Season 9, titled “No Loose Guard,” which introduced a unique twist where contestants auditioned in pairs, entered the house as duos, and later competed individually after being unpaired.
Kellyrae ultimately won the ₦100 million cash prize, making history as the first married winner of the show.
