Team Beta, who emerged victorious from the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show nomination challenge, is now the second couple spared from potential eviction this week.
Tjay and Ben, who were friends, demonstrated remarkable skill in the arena by maintaining their composure and guard during the obstacle relay, which mostly required speed and collaboration.
For the nomination challenge at the arena, the two faced off against 24 other housemates.
Each housemate had to cross the bins to get to a basket full of ping-pong balls during the game and transfer them to the other empty basket.
Until the last buzzer sounded, they were instructed to alternately go through the same procedure. With seven balls, Beta had the most after the challenge.
The Ndi Nne duo, who became the house’s first custodians, is the only other pair that could face eviction; the other pairs, however, are immune from this week’s nominations.
The Mbadiwe Twins, the inaugural heads of house (HoH) champions, could also face eviction, according to Biggie’s shocking and novel turn of events.
Big Brother had earlier revealed that HoH will not have immunity, which is a significant departure from prior seasons when they were granted protection from nominations for eviction and the ability to reject the replacement or saving of housemates.
