Renowned Nigerian musician, Bella Shmurda, declined a portrait featuring him and his departed friend, Mohbad.
Bella Shmurda was recorded in a video circulating on the internet while performing on stage. During the performance, an attendee presented a portrait featuring him and the late singer Mohbad.
In the now viral video, Bella expressed his reluctance to accept the gift, explaining that he couldn’t keep it in his house.
Speaking in Yoruba, he said; “You that brought this picture will be the same person to take it back because I can’t put this in my house, but I will give you money.”
According to reports, Mohbad, a former artist signed to the Marlian Record label, passed away on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances at the age of 27.
