Global music icon Beyoncé has earned the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) highest certification of any female artist in history.
This achievement follows the addition of fresh certificates to a number of her songs, bringing her total to 103 RIAA-certified titles.
The organisation posted on X (previously Twitter) to honour her accomplishment.
The post read;
“Crowning achievement! Congratulations to @Beyonce, who now holds the record for the most certified titles for a female artist in RIAA history, including her first two Diamond singles!”
Beyoncé’s illustrious career boasts a range of impressive certifications.
Her hits ‘Halo’ and ‘Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)’ recently earned Diamond status.
Additionally, her albums “Renaissance” and “Lemonade” have achieved 2x Platinum and 4x Platinum certifications, respectively.
Meanwhile, her earlier works, “Sasha Fierce” and “Dangerously In Love,” have reached 7x Platinum status.
Recall that, Beyoncé opened up about the challenges of fame and her process for creating music.
In a GQ interview, the celebrity revealed that, despite her widespread success, stardom can occasionally feel like a prison.
Beyoncé, who is well-known for revolutionising the music business, revealed that she now produces music at her own speed.
“I create at my own pace, on things that I hope will touch other people. I hope my work encourages people to look within themselves and come to terms with their own creativity, strength, and resilience,” she said.
She stressed that her focus is on storytelling, growth, and quality, rather than striving for perfection.
The singer explained that while working on projects like “Cowboy Carter” and other new ventures is liberating, the pressures of fame can sometimes be burdensome.
“It is fame that can at times feel like prison. So, when you don’t see me on red carpets, and when I disappear until I have art to share, that’s why,” Beyoncé said.
