Amber Siyavus, who competed in the eighth season of the reality television show Big Brother in 2007, has died at the age of 46.

The Clark County medical examiner in Nevada confirmed her death. According to her death certificate, Siyavus died at her home in Las Vegas on October 9. The cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.

“Rest in Peace, Amber. It’s hard to believe, but I know you’re back in our eternal home with our Creator. Thank you for being open and honest. We’ll remember you with love,” Chen Moonves wrote.

Siyavus appeared on the show in 2007, where she formed close relationships with fellow contestants Jameka Cameron and Dustin Erikstrup.

She was also known for her emotional moments and frequent tears during the competition, earning her the nickname “Whamber”.

Siyavus was the eighth housemate to be evicted and finished seventh overall. Dick “Evel Dick” Donato went on to win the season.

Siyavus’ 18-year-old daughter, Lexi Tomcavage, died in an apparent suicide in January 2018, according to TMZ, which first reported her death.
